After arriving in New York City on Thursday, October 23, 2014, Alina and I stayed with our friends, Heather and Adam in Brooklyn. Friday morning, Alina, Heather, and I headed out of Brooklyn via Subway and met Jill and Kristen Downtown at the 9/11 Church that survive the attack.
We walked down Wall street, got a free ferry to Staten Island, getting a great view of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and Manhattan. Afterwards, we boarding a tour bus, got Broadway tickets, and ate at some great food trucks. Our bus then took us to midtown, past huge buildings, and dropped us at the Rockefeller Building. We got tickets to go to the top of the Rock, then walked down to the Empire State building, to check on my tux at Men's Wearhouse.
Then we took the metro to Time Square, where we enjoyed NY pizza and the show, "On the Town". Afterwards, Jill and Kristen caught a cab to go back to their place, while Alina and I explored Times Square before going back to Heathers work.
