Sequoia teachers met in the Shafter Veteran's Hall, were David Franz, the City of Shafter's Education Partnership Director, ordered and unloaded thousands of books for teachers to take to their students. The left over books were loaded into teachers cars, brought to Sequoia Elementary, and will be distributed to other teachers for their students. Thank you David Franz and the City of Shafter!
