Our 4th-6th grade GATE students finished our last unit by creating story boards and animations to tell their story. We let them choose the type of animation, so some chose claymation, digital animation, or live-action.
Angel used ABCya animate on the iPad to tell his story. He extended it by App Smashing with photographs of clay characters coming out of the iPad and iMovie to splice all the images together.
Haley used the iPad app "Buddy Poke" to create images to tell her story.
The Claymators chose between armature puppets, clay figures, legos, or 2D clay for their animation.
Using DonorsChoose donations, we used tripods, iDevice mounts, iPods, iPads, and lighting equipment to enhance our productions.
