This summer, I was able to teach a group of 15 Chinese High School students for 3 days about American culture.
We met at California State University, Bakersfield July 27-29
Students used Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education accounts to access learning.
Students completed assignments on Google Classroom.
We used Brainpop to learn about American sports.
Students were challenged to choose an American topic to research, create, and share a project for Genius Hour.
Some worked individually, while others worked in groups.
After creating a Google Slides presentation, each group shared with the class on the last day.
